Who:

Shoddy Merchandise first began in 1996, as "Shotty Merchandise", by Matthew Kohnle and Jason Socci as a vehicle to release a small record they had made.  Over the next few years only two additional releases saw the light of day on the label, both vinyl ep's for Connecticut instrumental band "Daybed". This year sees the label re-christened (as well as reactivated) as "Shoddy Merchandise, LLC", now hailing from North Carolina.  The aim is to release records produced in house, and hopefully other recordings in the future that deserve to be heard.
